Manaar House is located in the vibrant holiday town of Umhlanga Rocks, the jewel of Kwa Zulu Natal and the business hub of Durban. Guests have the choice of staying either in the Bed and Breakfast or the Self Catering apartment (vacation rental) at Manaar House.

Manaar House is a five minute drive from Gateway Shopping & Entertainment Centre, the largest centre in the Southern Hemisphere). King Shaka International Airport is a 15 minute drive from Umhlanga.
Airport transfers and tours can be provided on request at competitive rates.
Unfortunately my stay was short - I decided to spend one night closer to the airport as I was unable to get a return flight to JHB on the day. My welcome was warm and friendly, room spacious, clean and well equipped. As I had to leave early the next morning to catch my flight, I opted to skip breakfast. Hermann, our amazing host was super friendly and greeted us with a big smile. We got upgraded to the family apartment and it was superb! Everything we could have asked for. We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Jonathan and Herman cannot do enough for you, including going out to fetch us pizza on our first night, when we were all exhausted from our grueling journey. Monty, the gentle dog, is also pretty cool.
